What to inspect
Names, dates, route, reference, and validity all matter.
- The passenger name should match the passport.
- The arrival and return dates should be consistent with the visa form, hotels, insurance, and stated itinerary.
- The route should make sense for the application or onward-travel requirement.
- If the provider claims a booking reference is independently verifiable, understand exactly where and for how long.
- A reservation is not automatically an issued ticket and normally cannot be used for boarding.
Verification
A professional-looking PDF is not enough.
